NEWS: 6 July 2007 19:56 GMT by Amy-Mae Elliott

D-Link has launched the DKT-710 Wireless G and DKT-810 Wireless N ADSL2+ Modem Router Starter Kits.

The Wireless G Starter Kit is aimed at first time adopters wanting an entry level solution at low cost.

The DKT-710 comprises the DSL-2640B ADSL2+ Modem/Router and DWA-111 USB2 mini adapter, providing home users with an economical and hassle-free way to connect to the Internet using Wi-Fi, offering a maximum wireless signal rate of 54mbps.

The Wireless N Starter Kit appeals to advanced users who demand increased wireless performance and those who want to upgrade their existing wireless G network.

The DKT-810 comprises the award-winning DSL-2740B ADSL2+ Modem/Router and DWA-140 USB2 mini adapter.

Based on 802.11n, the DKT-810 kit offers a maximum wireless signal rate of 270Mbps, enabling bandwidth-hungry applications such as high-definition video streaming to run seamlessly.

D-Link's Wireless N technology also means superior whole home coverage and a robust signal throughout whilst eliminating dead spots.

Both routers can be used on any ADSL, ADSL2 or ADSL2+ type of internet connection, as they both have a modem built-in, and provide security features to prevent unauthorised access to the home and office network, be it from the wireless devices or from the internet.

The DKT-810 ADSL2+ Modem Router Wireless N Starter Kit and the DKT-710 ADSL2+ Modem Router Wireless G Starter Kit are available now with a recommended retail price of £159.99 and £59.99 respectively.
