A record breaking and landmark audience of viewers from all across the globe united at MSN's Live Earth portal on 07/07/07 to watch the live webcasting of the Live Earth concerts.

Live Earth was a monumental music event organised by Al Gore to highlight the climate crisis that the world is facing.

Overall the event brought together more than two billion people on July 7, 2007 to raise awareness for the climate crisis.

Live Earth saw concerts staged New York, London, Sydney, Tokyo, Shanghai, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, Hamburg and featured a stellar line up of music acts including like The Police, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Kanye West, Black Eyed Peas and Jack Johnson.

MSN had the official streaming rights for the music events and as of 3 pm on 7 July, had received a total of more than 10 million video streams and has the most simultaneous viewers of any online concert ever.

On-demand footage of all performances, along with artist interviews, backstage footage, easy searching capabilities for specific songs, artists and more, will be available from all eight official concerts at LiveEarth.MSN.com for the next several weeks.
