The Roberts Sports 995 is an ultra-portable pocket radio.

It measures just 5.7cm by 9.8cm by 2.3cm and weighs 60 grams so it really will fit into your hand, or pocket, with ease.

A personal, stereo radio this has both MW and FM tuners (MW for that all-important Five Live coverage) and has 15 station presets, so you can tune in to your selected station at the press of a button.

It's powered by just one AAA battery, so you don't need to worry about charging it up before you go.

Boasting both scan and manual tuning for ease of use this has deep bass boost function for improved sound quality if you’re listening to music.

There is a lock switch to prevent you switching the radio on accidentally in your pocket and an auto power off switch which turns the radio off after a certain time.

One feature that should prove pretty useful to sports fans trying to listen to the action is the stereo/mono switch that gives you the choice of listening via one or both earphones.

So, if you wanted to listen to the match but couldn't risk having both earphones in (at work, maybe) you can just wear one and the sound quality won't suffer.

The Sports 995 costs £29.99 from electrical retailers, link to the Roberts site below.
