Forget your piddly Solio-type chargers, solar charging just got serious with Earthtech's $479 Solar Laptop Charger and Portable Power Kit.
You plug the solar panels into the power pack for about 12 hours then it can provide your laptop with about 6 hours of juice when you're out and about.
It's a impressive bit of kit, but we're not altogether convinced by the "portable" part.
