In a move that whiffs slightly of a publicity stunt, a German department store chain, Karstadt, has confirmed that it will be selling Apple's iPhone.
Apparently a spokesperson for the store stated "We will offer the iPhone", although could not say whether it will be with or without a contract or when it would have stock.
Apple's German partner for the iPhone has yet to be confirmed, although T-mobile are strongly rumoured to be the firm of choice, and have, albeit briefly, put iPhone related pages on their website recently.
