SNAP Mobile has kicked off the Nokia-sponsored Mobile Rules! Multiplayer Competition at the Develop Conference & Expo, a European event for gaming professionals.

SNAP Mobile launched the game development contest to offer developers a unique, fast track way to break into the multiplayer games market and still retain the rights to their games.

SNAP Mobile intends to use the competition to attract developers to build games on the SNAP mobile platform, which works on compatible Java-based phones regardless of manufacturer.

Some of the prizes for the Mobile Rules! Multiplayer Competition include:

- fast track contract negotiation and publishing opportunities with Mobile Rules! multiplayer sponsors,
- promotion of the winning games in Forum Nokia developer
communities,
- set-up of games in the SNAP Mobile production environment andonline services,
- Nokia devices.

Developers can submit game concepts from 1 to 30 August 2007 by emailing snapmobile@nokia.com, more details via the link below.
