Epson has launched a new all-in-one home photo centre in the UK. The RX620 all-in-one model offers a 2400X4800 dpi MatrixCCD scanner, built-in transparency unit for positive and negative film scanning, an integrated memory card reader, PictBridge, USB Direct Print and Bluetooth.
For archiving old photos and film, the Epson Stylus Photo RX620 also allows you to back up data directly to memory cards or to external CD-R or Zip drives via a USB cable (not supplied).
The model also features a 2.5in colour LCD display for viewing images before you print directly from a memory card and a printing resolution up to 5760dpi from six individual ink cartridges.
The unit will cost £199 and is available now.
