Microsoft flogs 60 million copies of Vista
Strong sales figures spurn gloating remarks

Jointly winning the Friday that's-no-way-to-make-friends awards are Microsoft's Kevin Tuner and Steve Balmer.
After announcing sales of the Vista OS had reached 60,000,000 Turner stated:
"By our math, we eclipsed the entire installed base of Apple in the first five weeks of shipment."
Balmer tag-teamed his colleague with the boast that:
"The installed base of Windows computers this coming 12 months will reach one billion by the end of our fiscal year '08 - there will be more PCs running Windows in the world than there are automobiles."
Modesty is a virtue, boys.
