The people behind this dating site have to be commended, if for no other reason than for having the cojones to type "dog lover" into a domain registration service, knowing full well that the next sound they hear could be a thunderous crash as the military wing of the RSPCA comes crashing through the door.
Yup, this is a dating site for people who just love dogs.
Now, let's get one thing straight: I love dogs. Maggie, my 1-year-old chocolate labrador, is adorable and fun-loving and mischievous and all the other things that a dog should be. I love her dearly (except when she's eaten or rolled in something unpleasant…) but I hope I don't love dogs in the same way some of these people love dogs. I'm not suggesting anything untoward - far from it, it's just they seem to lack a little perspective, and let's face it: anybody who puts a picture of just their dog on a dating website, is probably best avoided anyway.
But anyway, if you're single, and you're a dog lover, this could be just your thing. If your neither, I'll see you back here tomorrow for something a little more sensible...
