Wii about to hit one million consoles sold in the UK

Despite stock issues, the Nintendo Wii is on course to hit one million sales in the UK within three to four weeks.

This prediction comes from official retail figures released by Chart-Track.

With similar success stories echoed around the world, it seems nothing can slow down the Wii's global lounge invasion.

Right now in the UK the Wii is outselling the Xbox 360 by over four to one and the PS3 by more than six to one.
