Yamaha launches glow-in-the-dark electric scooter with iPod dock

A Japanese launch, Yamaha has moved into the green arena with the EC-02 that is a 40 mile range electric scooter with a top speed of 18 miles per hour.

If those specs aren't enough to tempt you then perhaps the iPod dock will? With a headphone jack or built-in speakers this 'pod connectivity means you won't need to sacrifice motion for music.

Still not interested? Then what about the fact that the EC-02 glows in the dark ... now that's a talking point at any traffic lights.
