Hercules launches Dualpix Exchange webcam

Hercules has announced the latest addition to its webcam range: the new Dualpix Exchange.
Claiming to make it easier than ever to stay connected, the new webcam offers a ready-to-use solution right out of the box.
This webcam complies with the new "USB 2.0 Video Class" standard, allowing users to connect and use it immediately with all available instant messaging applications with no need to install drivers or software.
Although if you do install the Hercules Webcam Station Evolution SE software included you can also use it as a digital camera.
It allows you to capture photos and videos, as well as offering continuous and timed shooting modes and automatic conversion and resizing of captures for email attachments.
The maximum resolution is 2 megapixels in photo mode and 1280 x 960 in video mode, this affordable offering is ideal chat sessions.
It boasts low-light capture, travelling zoom to keep the view centred on your face and 30-frame-per-second quality.
The Hercules Dualpix Exchange will be available mid-August for £24.99.
