Pentax Optio A40 digital camera review
12-megapixels too much for a compact?
Quick Review

| The good: | Easy to use, good screen, design and build, anti-shake, image quality, detail
| The bad: | Noise is obvious at higher ISOs, price
| Verdict: | The Optio A40 sits at the pinnacle of Pentax’s compact range and offers a set of features that would not embarrass a budget digital SLR. A CCD-shift anti-shake system graces a 12-megapixel sensor and Face AF, and by golly, it all seems to work too
