Quick review

The good: Compact design yet still easy to use, excellent metering a colour control with excellent and comprehensive range of point and shoot features and very nice 2-inch colour screen.
The bad: Slightly soft images, focusing issues in low light and at full zoom
Verdict: The Nikon Coolpix 7900 is almost the perfect high-resolution point ‘n’ shooter with compact and attractive styling that’s still very usable yet it’s let down somewhat by a few focusing issues.
