Epson R-D1 Digital Rangefinder review
Quick Review
| Published: | 20 June 2005
| The good: | Good magnesium alloy build and good sensor (similar to that housed in the Nikon D70 D-SLR); accepts Leica M and L mount lenses (the latter via an adapter) RAW capture.
| The bad: | Menus are little on the slow side, totally manual control may not be to everyone’s liking.
| Verdict: | The R-D1 provides plenty of camera cachet for any photographer thanks to its unique combination of old and modern and superb image quality.
