The Da Vinci Code - DVD review
Have Ron Howard and Tom Hanks cracked the code?
Quick Review
| Published: | 25 October 2006
| The good: | Howard was given unprecedented access to the Louvre, McKellen’s valiant attempts to inject some energy into proceedings, Tautou’s legs
| The bad: | Akiva Goldsman’s bloated, humourless script, Hanks’ bizarre haircut, Howard’s inability to inject the film with any energy, excitement or mystery
| Verdict: | Apart from these interesting diversions, however, why anyone would fork out £20 on this disappointing offering remains a mystery to us.
