Quick review
- The good
- Good image quality, plenty of detail, excellent range (and some unique to Pentax) of exposure controls, body integral Anti-Shake, anti-dust system, build and environment protection, RAW+JPEG mode, good value for money
- The bad
- Slightly soft JPEG images "out of the camera", slight loss of highlight detail
- Verdict
- Pentax’s flagship DSLR is pitched squarely at the high-end or advanced amateur user and boasts an excellent specification and unique-to-Pentax technologies
