Fujifilm FinePix F40fd digital camera review
Can Fuji improve on the Award winning F30?
Quick Review
| Published: | 23 May 2007
| The good: | Great metal build, compact, fast operation, good image quality, low noise up to ISO 800, simple to use, power management
| The bad: | No optical viewfinder, detail loss at highest ISO 2000 settings from noise reduction processing, no manual control (manual mode is actually a simple Program AE mode)
| Verdict: | The FinePix F40fd is responsive and the face detection AF works a treat to boot
