Nikon D3 DSLR camera review
Can Nikon's flagship model impress?
Quick Review
| Published: | 8 February 2008
| The good: | Excellent image quality, excellent ergonomics, great design and control layout, menu system, comprehensive feature set and customisability
| The bad: | Fastest frame rate only available in DX format mode, low(ish) resolution compared to its Canon competition the EOS 1Ds Mk III
| Verdict: | Nikon’s new flagship DSLR is a beast of a camera that sports Nikon’s latest FX format full frame (in 35mm format terms) CMOS sensor and full pro specification in terms of rugged build and shooting controls. It’s not cheap but then it is a lot of camera
