Voice Recorder for iPod review
Quick Review
| Published: | 14 July 2004
| The good: | Very user-friendly. Far preferable to old-fashioned tape/minidisc devices, conveniently small size, it records very clearly in quiet situations, very easy to store and find recordingsl/difficult to scrub by accident
| The bad: | Sudden loud noises (eg clapping, a cough) can blow your ear-drums off, It doesn't seem to handle louder noises/noises recorded near the mic well, The iPod battery sometimes can run out a bit too quickly, which can bepresent problems. (can't just replace batteries quickly)
| Verdict: | A good add-on to the iPod that is great for recording the boardroom meeting, but not those interviews down the pub
