Quick Review Published: 22 November 2004 The good: Excellent image quality, metering and AF combine with full manual control (if you want it) and wrapped in a very stylish package to boot. The bad: Disappointingly fuzzy optical viewfinder and plastic battery/memory card bay cover mar an otherwise excellent package. Verdict: It’s not all just good looks. The IXUS 40 is small, simple to use and stylish, but backs this up with great image quality and at a reasonable price into the bargain.
