Ricoh Caplio R1 review
Quick Review
| Published: | 6 December 2004
| The good: | Compact all metal styling & build; good metering and colour capture plus good specification that includes a 28-135mm wide-angle zoom lens.
| The bad: | Automatic slide-away lens cover occasionally jams at start up and shut down and the lens is soft at periphery
| Verdict: | The Caplio R1 offers a compact, all-metal, stylish design that houses a true, 28mm wide-end to its zoom lens and resolution enough for prints up to A3.
