Quick Review Published: 7 February 2005 The good: Design and handling are great, the lens offers plenty of scope and the colour screen is small but (almost) perfectly formed. The bad: The EVF is poor and the camera eats alkaline AA batteries faster than a swarm of locusts. Verdict: The S5500 is attractive proposition for the ‘snapper’ wanting that bit more from their photography.
