Review: I love this portable scanner. I liked it so much that I actually bought two. I use to use an HP Officejet 7100 to do my scans but it was painfully slow and the 7100 would purge the whole document if there was a paper jam. The SnapScan will allow you to continue scanning in the document after you clear the paper jam. It was referred to me by my accountant and I was impressed how easy it was to travel with and how fast it is. The ScanSnap does not scan in widths much wider than 8 1/2 inches. I still have to use my HP to do flatbed scanning. You need to spend some time getting familiar with feeding in glossy magazine - set the scanner on a slower speed.
