Review: I think people are missing the point of the subscription service: This allows you to listen to any track from the catalogue on your mobile device. So what does that mean? It means that I have the top 10 albums each week; It means that I have the top 40 singles from every year of the 80s and 90s; It means that whenever I see an ad for a new album I can have it complete and free of charge. The review is wrong about "prompt to pay": I have never seen a "prompt to pay". Albums have an option of "transfer to portable device". Click this and it downloads and transfers in one go. I have my portable player plumbed into my car, and I have a cable to plug it into my home hi-fi. So I never have to burn CDs...Who does that any more anyway? I can have any music all of the time, in the car, at home, and when I'm out and about. This service is phenomenal. It is the future. I find it hard to believe that people still buy CDs and pay for track downloads. Thoroughly recommended.

Review: I tried Napster to go for a week or so and got fed up with it crashing my Zen Micro. I had run the Zen for months with the creative software without any problems at all. Stopped the service and reverted to the original software/firmware.

Review: I've been using Napster 2 Go for a few months now and find it really easy to use. Not sure about the reviewer only being able to download single tracks; I have a 'download album' option so I just have to click once and the entire album is downloaded. They seem to have more than they used to; for instance Madonna's back catalogue wasn't there in the past but now it’s all available. I tried the Virgin and HMV software for their equivalents, but it just didn't seem to be as easy to use or their services as comprehensive as Napster. Plus, Napster is (finally) starting to use 192k for tracks as opposed to the 128k they always used in the past. The only slightly annoying feature is that on my mp3 player there's normally a one or two second delay whilst its 'acquiring license' before a track starts.

Review: You are forced over a barrel with this service, as soon as you stop paying you don't have the music - you never really own it like a CD or other downloaded tracks. It’s a terrible business model and hopefully it will never catch on - who wants to rent for life?

Review: I’ve had Napster To Go for approx 3 months, I download to a Creative Zen Micro and have 535 tracks on it. I am very pleased with the Napster service; I’ve found songs that I haven’t heard for a number of years plus most of the new releases. One disappointment is that there are no early Rolling Stones albums, or Beatles and some singles you will still have to pay for a limited time until Napster is allowed to transfer them to the To Go service. There are a few other minor quibbles but Napster say they are improving the service, so I will certainly stick with Napster.

Review: There aren’t enough compatible players. With the playlist library, you could easily use flash mp3 players too...but no, NO flash compatible players for Napster to go. Napster to go is crazy. They put up this service then only let a couple players use it! Some folks never learn!
