Review: This HP Photosmart 385 was on the counter of our local Telstra shop on Christmas Eve. What a cute snap printer! I visited the Woolworth (BigW) store in the same shopping village to see how much it cost. $AU164 (69.96GBP). There was a stack of them on the floor. Ah! I thought; after Christmas they will be discounted. They were - to $AU135! But, before buying, I checked the December “PC User” magazine where they were reviewed alongside other printers. The conclusion: "However, with less-than-perfect colour and visible dots on the prints themselves, the Photosmart 385 is not really good enough to recommend." Now how can these results and conclusions be so contradictory? Is there really any value in reading learned reviews? The stated price in PC User was $AU349 – vastly higher than the $AU135 in Woolies. So am I to conclude that HP are dumping the 385 to get shut of a bum printer?

Review: I beg to differ with the last review; you most certainly can print more than one copy of a print!! I did it tonight by mistake, as I got it as a gift!! I LOVE it!! I give it a 10!!
