Review: Although this device works well in MS XP, the software is only for Windows. I e-mailed uConnect in 9/2006 and got the reply that they had no software for Linux, but would email me when it is available. NO E-MAIL AS YET. I wonder if they have any intention of writing it. As I leave my PC running on Linux the device is no use to me
Pros: Works fine in Windows
Cons: No software provided for Linux or Mac

Review: I've been using this little device for about a month now. It was easy to set up and works reliably for my needs - PC to PC calls from my home office to colleagues at work. If you have a decent PSTN phone, you can take advantage of the quality sound it has (better than a lot of cheaper Skype handsets) and avoid the need for another bit of kit on your desktop. Only downside appears to be that if someone calls you on your landline while you are VOIP'ing, they just hear the phone ringing and ringing - they don't get an engaged tone. And you don't know they rang at all.
