Review: I bought the L7 Red version 3 weeks ago. I've never been a fan of Motorola and I can see why. The text messaging is an absolute nightmare. Give ma a Nokia any day. Battery life is now lasting 3 - 4 days, charges in about 3 hours. There are a great many features on this handset (eg: software settings etc) that are lacking on other phones. I still reserve judgement if I like the keypad from a users perspective. It looks good that's all I'm saying. Overall the handset feels and looks great and that's probably how Motorola are getting away selling them. Camera is crap. Not used the video aspect yet. The screen is first class (I think this is a Sharp manufactured screen)
If Motorola expect myself to buy their software at £24.99 then they are very much mistaken. At that price it is effectively pushing up the price of the handset by over 33%, considering I purchased the phone from O2 on Prepay for £79.99. Also no Transflash card which effectively adds another £19.99 onto the phones real price. I work for a major mobile telecomms company (not much guesswork required) and the ammount of failing Motorola handsets in a short space of time from the consumer purchasing them worries me.
Would I buy another Motorola? No
Why not? Because of the bad points I have listed below.
Pros: Looks bloody awesome in Red. Quality of finish is A1 as is the quality of it being screwed together. Design is first class. It's slim & lightweight, unlike myself. And the blue illumination is great. That's where the good points stop.
Cons: Motorola have short changed us consumers by no software CD or Trasflash card. This could result in paying out another 45 - 50% of the initial cost of buying the handset. Motorola are still a joke.

Review: I bought this phone at www.phoneseekers.co.uk and it's a great little phone. The best thing about it is the slimline design and amazingly clear screen. A must buy.

Review: Nice phone, very street cred. Nice sounds, pretty easy to use - even my dad had a go. I personally find the camera is not of great quality. The cases are a little on the dear side, the screen also marks very easily. Overall, nice phone.

Review: I don't know why so many people are giving this phone such bad press. I have just bought one and I am used to Nokia phones, while the menu takes a bit of getting used to, after 10 minutes you are up and running. I have also installed the 512MB memory card, and the only problem is when you try to move things around the memory. Apart from this it has a light sensitive keypad which saves on the battery life which is good anyway. iTunes who needs it, if you have a PC and a USB cable these are all you need to do whatever you need to do. I would recommend you go out and buy one, and become so cool, instantly. Well done Motorola!! Keep the innovation going...

Review: I got this mobile phone as a gift today, the mobile phone is amazing, the package contains a lot of nice stuff, the mobile phone is so slim and the memory card (128MB) is so small, small as a finger nail, and bigger capacity memory cards are available now at Sandisk (128MB-512MB-1GB..), the design of the mobile is so stylish, I really love this mobile, the price is so reasonable too, I recommend this mobile phone.

Review: I have been on the lookout for a new mobile phone and I’m lucky enough that I can afford any. I only mention that to explain that I am not limited to buying the cheapest one. I love gadgets and have had several phones. I have a very different perspective on this phone than Pocket Lint's review. Let's face it, for me at least, a mobile phone needs to be small, have good battery life and look good. This phone meets or exceeds all of those requirements. All of the latest features that have hit the mobile market recently in a vain attempt at differentiating the product are totally superfluous. People asking about EDGE or a better camera, even for me a self-confessed gadget freak, that stuff is all rubbish. This phone looks fantastic and has that wow factor that is missing from just about every phone on the market. On top of that it really is sliver thin so you don't notice it in your pocket. The screen is very good too. The one complaint I do have is the volume level of the speaker which is barely tolerable. I hope to see that fixed in a software update. I recommend this phone.
