Review: This, unfortunately, is one of those reviews I wanted that I would have read myself before buying the product. A major drawback is that the line voltage plug on the adapter itself is non-standard (in contrast to the Apple adapter, for which you can find local power cords at any radio-TV shop). Unfortunately, the "EU" version I bought only comes with the UK plug and a flat plug (many places in EU). Specifically, a USA plug is missing. The manual says that I must use 220 volt plugs for 220 volts, and 110 volt plugs for 110 volts. So, even if the adapter is 110-240 volts, I would void the warranty if I would use an adapter to convert to a 110 volt plug. This makes the product unusable outside Europe. While at home, the adapter works, but as far as travel goes the product is a lot more limited than the brochure says. I would have taken that into account if I would have known at the time of purchase. Unless you really can't live without the car/airplane plug, the Apple adapter itself is a much, much better choice.
