Review: On the whole: The hardware is very simple, which is good. The price is low, and the sound quality really is great for the price. The software included is all you really need to get a good podcast recorded. So far, awesome.

However, that this product was marketed specifically of podcasting is very strange when taking one major lack of foresight into account: You cannot record from the Stereo Mix. You can only record from the signal coming in via the mic or instrument inputs. This means, for example, that you cannot have an interview via skype as part of your podcast. In fact, podcast or notm, you just can't record any interview via the internet on your computer. You can'tr ecord anything that isn't directly plugged into this baby via one of the sockets. And for a podcast product, that's just inexcusably bad.
Pros: Cheap, simple, and good quality sound.
Cons: Can only record via mic or instrument input. MAJOR con, making it rather unsuitable for podcasting.
