Review: Having bougt the PS1 and PS2 on launch days I was very dubious about the PS3 after all it's delays and it's price tag. But having wandered into HMV on launch day and seeing the beast in action, the credit card came into play and I went home with the console and 3 games. My early thoughts are that this machine has the ability to destroy it's current competition, as long as Sony keep it up to date and the games that are released aren't just follow ups to earlier versions (Ridge Racer 7 sucks).
Pros: The graphics and sound in the new games is great and the console has a great little menu system that means you are in complete control.
Cons: It's size. I know there's a lot of hardware there but it weighs 5KG and makes my PS2 look like the newer machine.
