Review: I’m unsure as to why Stuart appeared to experience so many issues with this product in the main review. My experience so far, however, is nothing short of superb. Having unpacked the product, and following a brief glance at the enclosed user manual, it took less than 5 minutes to install and was all up and running without issue. In fairness, the majority of time was spent identifying the most optimal channel to tune to. Once satisfied with the channel selection on my radio, I popped in the Nano whereby was immediately presented with the Belkin tuner screen. Quickly adjusted the channel selector on the cradle to reflect my earlier radio channel choice and hey presto, we have music. I have to say, the sound quality is crystal clear and so far consistent whilst driving. I haven't as yet needed to configure alternative channel choices on the cradle which Belkin allow for if needed. Furthermore, the accompanying documentation indicates that on occasion, Nano users may need to increment the default cradle volume of 3 to perhaps 4 or 5 in order to supplement the reduced volume output from the Nano. Cannot say I have found this to be necessary as yet and the output volume appears to be equivalent to playing normal CD's. All in all, an excellent product if somewhat pricey compared to some of its rivals.
Pros: Ease of setup and use.
Ensures Ipod charges whilst connected.
Flexible and adjustable, but robust mount.
Excellent sound quality
Cons: Difficult to fault at present but perhaps Belkin might have provided 'back lights' for the keypad for night driving.
Score: 9/10
