Review: I've been searching for years, for a pair of earphones that delivers good high quality sound and comfortability, and i can say the Bose Triport IE earphones delivers all of that. They are kinda pricey, but if you like to listen to your music with lots of bass and depth these earphones are definatly the ones for you and are well worth the money. They do tend to fall out of your ears sometimes, and even though they are "in ear" they do not reduce any external noise which is a slight dissapointment, the silicon tips also can gather quite alot of earwax inside after using them, but they can easily be removed to be cleaned.

Overall i thought they were quite amazing when listening to music or anything for that matter, and would highly reccomend them to anyone.

Bose are the boss when it comes to audio equipment
Pros: amazing high quality booming sound, smart black carry case included
Cons: Silicon tips can become loose or even fall out ears from alot of movement
Score: 9/10

Review: For the price a second rate poor alternative.

I bough these 4 weeks ago initially I was impressed with the sound quality, unfortunately that’s where it ends, I found these poorly designed and with the exception of the sound generally poor quality.

Firstly, the rubber in ear tip were constantly falling of, in fact ever time I took the out of my ears they would fall to bit! When I paid this price for them I don’t expect to have to crawl about the ground picking parts up every 5 minutes!

I’ve just returned these because to top it all the cable disconnected from the jack, apparently I must have had a faulty pair, although to be honest the workmanship on it did look second rate, certainly not what I expected from a quality brand like Bose. My last headphones are 4 years old and still going strong, these lasted 4 weeks before they broke!

Do yourself a favour if you’ve got money to spend on a decent set of headphones go for a quality alternative, i.e. Shure, or even Sony in fact to be honest I’d rather a pair of Alba they’d at least last a bit longer...

To sum up easily the worst purchase I have ever made in my life.
Pros: NONE - they sound good, but for the money what else would you expect
Cons: poorly made fall to bits
Score: 1/10

Review: Sound quality is ok for the untrained ear, if you expect anything reflecting a good frequency response I would not bother here, the bass is so high, it overwhelms everything else, I listen to them on the train and all I could hear was the basslines and the high pitched stuff, they let alot of ambient noise in becuase no matter which size insert you use, there is no seal, ie air can pass between the outside and the inside of your ears, compare this with other in-ear phones and youll probably realise you like the isolated feel of something like shure, or etymorphic, coincidentally I had a pair of e3c's which were much better than this, even the bass response was near with the EQ on, and the other spectrum was simply beautiful in comparison.

These phones are also quite ugly and bigger then they look on the pictures.

Build quality is under par for the 21st century, I wouldn't put long on the cables, they are skinny as hell.

The leather case is about the only good thing about these phone to be honest, I returned mine (and some cash) in exchange for some Shure E3's, which kick ass over these on every element except the bass which gets near with the EQ on but would want over-emhasized bass anyway really.

Also they are more expensive but I'd rather feel like I bought good phones than feel seriousley ripped off.
Pros: Leather case

Heavy bass

Good sound stage for in-ears
Cons: Let 80% of noise in your ear from outside

Bass drowns everything else out if in noisy environment

Under par sound quality in general for price

Bit tacky build quality

Ugly compared to the picture

Bose know people want to return them, so they wont let you, be careful
