Review: Back with further thoughts. Photos can be transferred using Accessories - Windows Explorer. I had a lot of trouble with ActiveSync - finally solved by repairing my PC Outlook. Camera is excellent.
Pros: I still think the combination of functions - phone, PDA, camera, internet/email and GPS can't be beat..and it all works well
Cons: Processor slowness means GPS can lag slightly with present position, though good display helps.

Review: Further to my report of 19 Jan.. The 2.0Mp camera gives good results but I haven't yet found a way to transfer the results to my PC for printing, apart from sending them by email! It's a real pain to take the memory card out for a card reader (the print wasn't too good).
Pros: Surely there must be a way of using USB to transfer images TO the PC?
Cons: Waste of a good camera

Review: Processor is slow. Installing memory card is a pain. CoPilot GPS is good but not user-friendly. Even with these criticisms, the MDA III Compact is a great phone with a good camera. Took a long time to set it up because of difficulty in installing GPS card and slow processor. Good deal on T-Mobile Flext20.
Pros: Combination of functions - phone, PDA, camera, internet/email and GPS can't be beat..and it all works well
Cons: Processor slowness means GPS can lag slightly with present position, though good display helps.
