Review: As a Linux-user to the core, I approached my OEM copy of Vista with some hatred. I installed it in a dual-boot scenario and booted up all ready to write a scathing review.
(silence)
It's actually pretty good. The Aero interface is great (it works a lot better than Compiz/Xgl on Linux) and everything seems to be a lot more thought out than with previous versions of Windows (the documents in your user folder aren't just dumped in there).
It's not enough to make me leave the hallowed ground of Ubuntu Linux, but I've just ordered a new laptop, it'll come with Vista and it won't be wiped, just set to dual boot with Ubuntu as the primary OS. That's a good sign from a Linux user.
Pros: Price (if you can legally get the OEM version), graphics, better organisation.
Cons: It's still Microsoft Windows and it's early days to see how stable it is...
