Review: After looking at the different systems available for whole-house audio entertainment I went with the Sonos system here and have no regrets. Very easy to install and expandable upto 32 zones. It really is a plug-in-and-play system. No faffing about, it just works. Access your music library via your PC/NAS, thousands of radio stations and internet music subscription services from you chair/bed/floor... What I love is the ease of controlling the music to each room and been able to access my music library without the need of having the PC on (I have a NAS)
For the price there is not much that can touch it and because it's modular you could buy a controller and a zone player and extend your system bit by bit. There are less expensive options out there but like the saying 'You get what you pay for'.
Pros: I haven't stopped smiling yet. This is the best gadget I have ever owned.
Soooo easy to use.
Easy installation. No builders work - unless you want hidden speaker cabling.
Looks expensive - you know what I mean when you get something and it just oozes quality.
Cons: Pretty pricey - but turned out to be the least expensive option for my requirements.
Score: 10/10
