Review: Overall dissappointment because the one major 'con' outweighs the lightweight 'pros'.
I have been using Pinnacle video editing software for over 8 years, but as with Studio 10, Pinnacle has again shot itself in the foot.
I am going to reinstall Studio 11.
Pros: Able to create audio output eg .WAV
Video effect ROTATE.
Cons: Keyframes are NOT available with video effects.
Keyframes were available with Pinnacle 11.
Score: 4/10

Review: While it's true that Pinnacle keeps coming out with new versions rather quickly these days, Studio 12 definitely runs smoother than 11 and 10(before the updates). I've been using Pinnacle since Studio 7, and yes, it's quite costly keeping up with new releases, however, Studio 12 is worth it for the montage feature alone. It's awesome. I haven't used the DVD burning section yet so I can't comment there, however I've been pretty happy with it in past versions. Most problems with Studio's instabilities usually comes from computers running Vista. I run XP and highly recommend this to people, especially those of us still using good old Windows XP.
Pros: Best user friendly interface. Montage section is great. Vitascene also a welcomed edition and easy to use;
Cons: Pinnacle no longer includes the content dvd loaded with all the extras.
very disappointing. Plugins nice but no substitution for the now missing content dvd
