Review: This is a well built and well specified camera and when I bought it (May 05) £139 was a good price for a 5Mp camera. Mine is actually badged as a Rollei DR5100 but it's the same thing. It's easy to use and swift to start up (as long as it's set to "flash off") and in shutter response but it is very slow between pictures. The option of AA or Li-on batteries is handy and it definitely performs better on the Li-on. A fast SD card also helps the between-shot times. Picture quality is fine in normal conditions - I don't even find the purple fringing mentioned in many reviews to be a problem (it's cleanable in PSP9 anyway). It does suffer in low light - the high ISO speeds are a gimmick as they are pretty much unusable. Noise is a major problem in these images. Overall, I like it but I'm disappointed that many of the clever functions I bought it for (external flash etc) are poorly implemented. I'm not in a rush to change it but I suspect that there's a Pentax with my name on it at some time in the future.
