Review: Worst phone ever! Too complex even for a teenager. Pity it’s so rugged as I'll no doubt have to keep it a while longer.

Review: I got good java programs for m65 and downloaded them for my cx70. That things only advantage is dust and moisture proof but I'd like to request an m65 user to throw his phone in a bucket full of water. That’s hard waterproofing.

Review: This is a great Phone. Don't doubt it. Those who are complaining, I'm sure they have an older Firmware. I bought this 2 weeks back and have found no problems. Those who are using old software versions or unfortunately bought it with an older version preinstalled, please get a FREE upgrade from the SIEMENS site. The camera is nice (As you'd expect from a Mobile Camera!). This camera will only disappoint you if you are expecting a professional quality Digital SLR from it, then, my suggestion is to get a DIGITAL SLR and tape your phone to the back of the camera! ;o). Those who like games, there are zillions of free Java games available on the net, you'll be bored testing all of them! Regarding Ringtones and playback, it can play 40 polyphonic tones. MIDI files are played great and it can play .WAV and .amr files too (but only coded with IMA ADPCM converted ones!) When properly converted it playbacks great and compression is great too. It also comes with nice games and an organizer. And I had no problem synchronizing it with Outlook. This is also the most robust phone in its class (or in any category?). There are only two things you can complain about the M65: 1. it has no Bluetooth and 2. The battery could last longer. Well with the big color screen and all the complex functionality it has it’s not possible to maintain a good standby time these days. However, those who are complaining about the battery will fine little tips can help you improve your battery life. Use the "Energy Saving" mode for the screen saver and reduce the Illumination to 10/20%. This is good for your eyes too! But with all these tips and tricks it still won’t last more than two and half days. One of the most important features I found in the M65 (well in fact on all Siemens phones) is the call screening! Which means, no one can bother you except if they are in a specified group. You can classify your callers in almost 9 groups! It’s cool. It has all the other necessary features like browsing internet, messaging, IM, World Clock, a built in photo editor, video capture, MMS. And if after all that you still need more functionality there is a reasonable 10.3 MB space to download more applications. I downloaded an application to read e-books on it! I read while I'm on bus. Enjoy.
