Review: Okay, I got it on the 30th Dec 05, but I like it already. Being female of the species I had worried after reading the reviews here (before my eBay purchase arrived) that I would not want to wear it. Okay it is a little on the large side, but not enough to put me off. It's not pretty but neither is it, as described here ugly... I bought it firstly as a voice recorder for college use where I think it will come in to its own and hopefully help me pass my exams this spring (should alleviate the writers cramp during long lectures). I paid around £90 inc p&p from the states for the 512mb version, I spent all of last night trying to work out my hubby's mp3 player with no luck (in case I couldn't use the watch when I got it). Compared to the mp3 player this watch is a piece of cake. All in all I find it easy to navigate has good sound, easy recording and if it lasts past the exam season I’ll have had a great bargain, any more than that and it'll be a bonus. The only thing I am wondering about is what I’ll do when inevitably the strap breaks. My hubby can keep his MP3 player with its flimsy build. I'll wear my music, carry my files and record my lectures, and tell the time!! knowing it's all secure round my wrist and won't have to worry about where I've left my USB pen, have I got a real pen and paper etc, and after all that find somewhere between lectures to listen to some soothing sounds. For the moment I think its great.....only time will tell if it deserves a better or worse review.

Review: I bought one from the gadget shop and it worked great for almost a year... though the headphone plug seems to have developed a weird short and everything sounds as if it is playing in a tin can now (until I hold my hand and the wires in the right position and then it suddenly comes back to full high-fi glory). Overall I agree with the reviewer... nice idea... my clients have had a giggle about it's James Bond Voice Recording and Music Playback and file transfer between Mac and PC, but I hoped it would have lasted longer and still sound good. And of course the look of it could be a bit more upmarket for the money I spent on it!
