Review: Picture quality is very good, on live and recorded. Fan / disk noise has improved, no longer noticeable when it is off. Recording menu is easy to use, and the twin tuner is a real winner. Front Lights are OK on reduced setting; you could land aircraft on normal, far too bright. Down side with the DHD4000 is that the box is not well ventilated, and if on for a long time on hot days it can lead to thermal shutdown. You need to place the box in a well ventilated area, or invalidate your warranty by taking off the cover and drilling some holes in the top. Overall very happy.

Review: I’m very happy with my DHD4000, it does everything that I expected it to do. Picture quality is very good. Recording programs is easy and there is also an option to set a weekly flag on a recording, so missing your favourite programs should be a thing of the past. The twin tuner works (why shouldn’t it) one feature of the twin tuner is you can record two programs at the same time while watching a previous recording. The fan noise is noticeable when the TV is off but recent changes to the firmware now turns one of the fans off when the box is in standby which has improved the background noise it generates. Couple of downsides, there is no top up TV card slot and a few bugs (the change to BST caused a few problems and holding the confirm delete button too long deletes records it should not).

Review: I looked at this as a possibility to upgrade and old Pace OnDigital box. The thing that put me off was you canít use TopUp TV cards with it.

Review: I love my DHD4000. No problem with the dazzling lights, you can change settings in the menu between off/reduced/normal. I use reduced.
