Review: Fable is the best game I have ever played, ever. The innovative, experience and character development system means that the game is never played the same way twice: kick a chicken in your youth, and you will wear the brand of 'Chicken-Chaser' right up into your adult life, until you gain enough renown to be known as the slightly more fearsome 'Deathbringer'. Every single decision has an impact on your character: and while there may be arguments that the lack of extensive storyline quests make the game less replayable, the fact of the matter is that Fable truly is the next generation of role-playing games. Combined with a more extensive storyline from certain, unnamed series of fantasy RPGís, the game would be virtually perfect. It is almost a guarantee that we will soon be seeing many more games incorporating Fable's beautiful design and flawless skill system. A must have, for any serious gamer.
