Review: The LX 700 is easily the best keyboard I've used, it feels as good as it looks and the extensive programmable keys are a particularly useful addition to my video edit/office/home computer system. I agree that the mouse is a great chunk of a thing, having grown to like a very small mouse; this one is a bit like shifting a brick about and seems an odd choice to go with such an elegant keyboard. My one serious complaint is that the Logitech LX 700 software comes complete with BackWeb spy-ware. I would most seriously recommend that you do not install Logitech Desktop Messenger which might inform you of the odd software upgrade but which is far more likely to feed Logitech weekly information about your system. If you have already installed it, it can be removed in Control Panel/Add or Remove Programs. I give the LX 700 6/10, without BackWeb and with a smaller mouse a 9/10.
