Review: I tried this product via USB connections rather than Ethernet. This was using an XP computer to a Windows ME computer (which does not have a network card, hence the USB option) and it wasn’t a good experience! I don't think the instructions cover this option adequately. Also, if I made any changes to network settings on either PC I had to uninstall on both PC's and start from scratch (uninstalling did not remove the drivers). Sometimes when rebooting the PC's, or just switching on in the morning, no connection was available. The whole thing is just not stable enough. I am an experienced PC user and find this product very frustrating, although it's an excellent concept. It's been around long enough to be better than this by now.

Review: I’ve been trying for 2 weeks to get our WLAN to work in our 16th century big old house that has 6 (yes six) ring main switchboards some of which are very old. I have tried to buy high gain antenna etc. etc. to make my wireless kit work and after 2 weeks I gave up on wireless. After plugging the Devolo dlans into the router and the PC, it didn't work. I then realised I had disabled my Ethernet on my PC, rebooted into BIOS and enabled, rebooted and it sprung into life. The speed is about 10Meg which is much faster than my WLAN used to provide and PC to Mac copies are seamless. I have never written a review before for a website but this product is so good, I felt compelled to, it just works.
