Review: Great camera, I bought one and I highly recommend it. Don't waste your time with one of those obsolete DSLR's unless you want a real involved hobby. You would spend $2000 just to get the lens combo that comes with the 8800. If you want Great Pictures, buy this camera.

Review: No workable manual focus, poor AF in dim light, focus hunting is awful, useless ISO range, very limited F-stop range, weak AF assist light good for 5 feet only, no fully compatible flash, shutter lag, 5 second RAW write times. Forget it. For the money, get a DSLR.
