Review: A complete waste of time and money! I purchased 3 copies of this software. One for each of my sons and one for myself. After installing, there has been nothing but problems with 85% of the features I used. It is almost impossible to uninstall. Might be IMPOSSIBLE; since I'm still trying to completely uninstall it.

Review: This is quite simply rubbish software. It has a poor interface and it seems impossible to completely uninstall. It’s wasted far more time for me than it might have saved had it functioned properly.

Review: I had owned previous versions of this product, including Norton 95 & Norton Utils. 3.0 and found them to be very effective and good for my PC. This version, however does the complete opposite, it slowed down my PC considerably (at time of writing I have the fastest AMD chipset available) and the Windoctor caused all kinds of problems, including removing Library files it shouldn't have (which stopped Quicktime working) and it removed key entries from the registry that made my CD/DVD drive vanish, which meant a complete re-install. The Speed Disk optimizer used to be outstanding at organising the hard disk, especially with the Pagefile. Now, it seems totally ineffective and doesn't even optimize the Virtual memory. I've never found any problems with the virus checker, I'm hoping that Norton will be effective in that department at least, because it has a lot to make up for in other areas. This product has a nice interface, but to sum up, this package isn't worth the box it was sent in...I implore anyone....DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! If there's something out there that does the same job, get that instead, it simply can't be as bad as this. 1/10 (and that’s for the nice box).
