Review: Last Christmas I bought my first mp3 - A new 6gb Iriver h10, It was like a dream, perfectly sized and weighed practically nothing at all. Iriver's are amazing, that is until they break. And when they break you will get mad no matter how mellow you are. I had not connected my iriver h10 to my computer for at least 6 weeks and that morning i was listening to it for at least 4 hours. But when it came to me listening to it later that day it turned on and up popped the SYSTEM FILES MISSING error. This made me mad as you could imagine so we tried to contact the iriver help line sending emails to them. It didn't work, however you can send your iriver back to them to fix it if such problems happen, they will fix it gladly, (for a fixed cost). It's the best mp3 player until it breaks and then it goes downhill from there. I hope this helped you.

Review: I had a iriverh10 bought for me in Florida last year and up until last week I’ve had no problems, it’s a great little player, easy to use etc.... but I have had a system files missing screen come up and it will not switch off and I’ve had no help from iriver. I’ve spent 4 hrs plus looking for help on the web but still had no luck solving the problem.

Review: After trawling the market and reading reviews for an alternative to the increasingly common iPod I plumped for the Iriver H10 6GB. On receipt it looks great, is easy to navigate and is very user friendly for a PC based operator. BUT after 2 weeks usage, it has started to freeze and won't turn off. I have only used 30% of its memory and having looked at some other user’s comments, this appears to be quite a regular and insurmountable problem. The iriver customer helpline is hopeless and I'm still waiting for a response to my e-mails asking how these problems can be rectified, three weeks after I sent them. Basically the H10 sounds good (although not as good as people make out and the earphones are, despite the reviews, average), the radio is great to have and the size and weight is perfect. However the fundamental quality issues with this unit far outweigh the pluses. I'm sure if you get a good one, its great, but if you get a dog which mine obviously is, you will bitterly regret not getting the iPod. Would I buy another one? Not a chance.

Review: My iriver H10 6GB arrived yesterday, and I tested it before it being put away for Christmas. I was delighted to see that it really did only take three hours to charge up fully for the first time, and considering that the battery lasts for around twelve hours this is very good, right? I tried the case, but it's ugly and very awkward to get on and off, and the earphones are uncomfortable, so purchase of a new case (a PROPER one) and headphones (not earphones) are in order, but besides that, I love it! It took me a while to find out how to do certain things, the manual was definitely not as good as searching on the internet, but I enjoyed using it and can't wait for Christmas already! Also, I've had no problems with the scroll pad as of yet, at least not enough to annoy me. And I'm glad it comes in a variety of colours, because if it WAS only silver, I wouldn't have bought it.

Review: I just recently bought the iRiver H10 and like it very much. I was looking for an iPod and learned just how bad they really are compared to the H10. You can update the H10 so you wouldn’t really have to replace it which doesn’t happen with iPods. Also, you don’t have to send it away to get it fixed and pay 160$ for a new battery if it has battery problems (which a bunch of them do). The H10 has detachable batteries so you can keep it and get a new one at the expense of around 40-50$. This device is also really easy to use, I just love it!

Review: I just recently purchased the H10, and haven't had any problems. It’s easy to download music with wm10. I like the design (but hate the "skin" casing). I use to own an iPod mini and this device is a little harder to navigate than that, but worth it because it does much more. Overall I am very pleased with sound and visual performance, I'd give it a 9 out of 10.

Review: Ok to start off it’s a great little player, superb sound especially with SRS WOW, it truly makes you go WOW! The screen is crystal clear, great options of recording voice, photos and text, with the addition of radio it’s very good indeed. 5GB is more than enough for me. The only problems lie with the items you get, poor shabby plastic case and poor earphones, they’d be better off not supplying them as people tend to buy their own better ones. For the money I paid of £200 I at least expected a remote which only costs £20 to buy online. From what I can see you can actually charge the unit via USB so there’s no need for the charger. Overall I am very happy with the player I give it an 8/10, it would have got more if it was bundle with a remote at the most.

Review: I tried the H10 with Napster to Go and WMP10. I could not get it to work with MP3s or WMA’s ripped from my own CD’s or with downloaded content. iRiver support has not been helpful. After deleting and reinstalling WMP10 on 2 computers and removing and reloading the contents several times, I came to the conclusion it was never going to work. I’ve sent it back to Amazon today and have ordered a Zen Micro instead.

Review: So far so good with this player... Pocket-lint pointed out most of the good things so I'll point out the Bad's of it. 1. No dedicated volume button 2. Mediocre touch sensitive scrolling navigation - This may be one opinion but Apple's Click Wheel’s usability is superior. 3. Screen -Why does it have to be square? It would have looked nicer if it was wider. 4. Bundle Package Problems -The music organizer for the player was kind of buggy then again you can just drag+drop 5. The rubber skin HAS TO GO 6. and the bundle earphones suck.
