Review: Fluffy, I have had the same problem but I found a workaround. Next time it happens, shut off your phone and then the HF800 can be powered off. This works for me, good luck! PS: The article suggests that the HF800 can be used with a PC but what's the point. I use it with my laptop when I make calls with SKYPE or chat with MSN/YAHOO. It's better than plugging in a clumsy headset.

Review: I had read good things about the Motorola HF800 prior to purchasing it, however, after purchasing I have had repeated technical difficulties with the device. Specifically, when I am on a call on a Bluetooth enabled RIM 7290 device that has already been successfully paired with the HF800 I can not activate the HF800. If I attempt to activate the hands-free mode then the HF800 will lock up and will not allow me to do anything...including powering the device off. Motorola tech. support could not assist with the problem and told me that they could send me a replacement device. However, the replacement HF800 has exactly the same issue. I have to wait 100+ hours for the onboard batteries to drain before I can correct the problem. Ouch!

Review: Typically Motorola. Fantastic design (except one major flaw), works flawlessly and ought to be great as a car kit (after all, who would be seen dead walking around with it at your neck?). The flaw! Motorola's moronic obsession with bling! The blue function button is ok in full daylight but is dangerously distracting at night. It is so bright that it actually triggered a migraine! It should get a 10 but for design stupidity, it rates a regrettable 1.
