Review: Regarding Mac compatibility, the Everio is Mac compatible, although the supplied software is not. I've been using the Everio with my Mac with no problems. Plug in the USB and the Everio mounts as an external hard drive. Drag and drop the video files to transfer them to your Mac. As for editing the files though, I have no good recommendations for MPEG-2 editors for the Mac.

Review: Thanks for your nice review of the JVC Everio but my problem is to abandon the delivered Power Director Express NE and to edit on my own Cyberlink Power Director 3, which is much better. Converting in AVI or mpeg 1 or 2 doesn't help.
