Review: I think this is a really good phone but the only thing is that it takes quite a while for it to come on and when trying to send something on Bluetooth it keeps freezing now and again. Apart from that this is the best phone I have ever had but if I were to get a new phone I would stay with the Nokia's.

Review: I got the Sony Ericsson w800i about 19th Dec 2005. At the moment it is being repaired for the 19th time. Ever since I got it, it has never been right; there is always something wrong with it! I would STRONGLY NOT recommend this phone. There are many other people that I know that have this phone and they are the same. I went into a phone shop asking about this phone and they said lots of people are coming in to get them fixed! Like I said before I strongly recommend NOT 2 get this phone.

Review: I've ordered my handset for free through T-Mobile for £18.75 a month. A colleague has one and says he's more than happy with it, so I'm desperately hoping that it won't suffer the problems everyone else has had, freezing etc. Please providence, be kind to a poor little techno freak! Me want toy, my toy! I'll have a play and report back to you Captain....

Review: I've had my phone for two weeks and I'm not happy with it at all. I can’t turn it on because it keeps on freezing. Now my memory stick doesn’t work. I just really don’t want it anymore. I have never had a Sony Ericsson before and I won’t be having one again. I waited three weeks for it and I’m sad to say it wasn’t worth it. Sorry Sony.

Review: From what I managed to use on the phone the sound quality of the mp3 is good and the 512MB card is very useful for holding my tracks as well as the fact you can plug your own headphones into the hands free set. Now the gripe, mine would not hold any charge. On either mains or USB it kept saying the battery was flat and even after a few hours charge it still read 0%. I’ve now sent it back to O2 for a new one so let’s see how this one fairs.

Review: This is definitely the phone to have. I disagree with people who say that it malfunctions easily when you drop it as I've dropped my phone lots of times and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. The quality of the songs and pictures is fantastic!!

Review: I think this phone is fantastic. The quality of the mp3, camera and video is spot on. The only issue I have with it is it keeps freezing when I flick through my tunes. Considering everything it can do you would think speed wouldn’t be an issue, but it is very slow sometimes. Picture quality is good and speaker phone is very clear. Good volume on it as well for playing tunes without the earphones. Go buy it!

Review: The phone is great, just one problem though, it won't stop freezing. I've had mine for over a week and it freezes about 3 times everyday. I also can’t get my clock to work right, even when it is set to the correct time and time zone. Unfortunately I am so fed up with this that I have decided to buy a new brand of phone. It truly is a pity since I really wanted this model.

Review: I wouldn't touch this phone with a bargepole. I bought one for my 15 year old daughter’s birthday at £300. Had it 2 weeks and dropped it. How often do you drop a mobile? It would no longer function so I took it for repair (to a Sony approved dealer) and was told the circuit board was warped, this seems nothing to do with being dropped but because the case was scratched they would not repair/replace the phone. The phone itself is light and cheap looking and does not withstand normal wear and tear.

Review: I’ve just received mine this morning, it’s definitely an improvement compared to previous phones I’ve had. I got it free from Vodafone because I have been on contract with them. A very good deal for this Christmas ...lots of small applications built and packed within this phone.

Review: This is the phone to have. The camera is good even in the evening with the night mode but the only complaint I have is the video recoding, if you move too fast it gives out a poor picture. But the player is the best so there‘s no need of an iPod.

Review: This is a wicked little phone! It’s the whole package and looks great to. I can't wait to get mine, should be getting it in 2days time! I hope it has been worth the wait and all the phone calls in trying to find a shop that has them in stock.

Review: I'm waiting for this phone to be delivered through T-mobile and I agree with Martin. The price I have to pay for the W800i is £80 but I think it will be money well spent. The thing is I remember they were offering it for free before! (I'm only 13 and have to use my own money to pay for it so I'm hoping it will not fail on me).

Review: I had a Moto a925 before (too big for pockets) and got this a month ago, and I'm very surprised that the W800i can do more than I expected! I convert a DVD to .3GP in 2 hours and it has been even better quality than on my a925! (The screen is small, yes, but the details are BRILLIANT! you have to see it for yourself to believe it!). And I recently found a freeware program to read .TXT files on it so now I can read stuff too! The java program is even better than the symbian based programs for reading on your phone! (I have tried most of them). So, not only is it a phone for music and gaming, it's for all sorts of stuff! There's no limit to what it can do! The programs I use are DVD to Mobile (you’ve got to use the s700i/ z1010 settings) and ReadManiac. The orange/creamy white colour makes it feel real retro-cool too. :)

Review: I received my phone on the 24/08/05 and the only issue I have with it apart from the lovely 'burnt orange and cream' colour...is the poorly designed software that comes with it for your computer.... I am a die-hard Nokia user who thought I'll give it a try' but the software gives hardly any control over the general management of the phone...whereas with Nokia you can just drag and drop files onto the MMC, if you do this with the W800i the walkman doesn’t recognise the file structure...so it won't play!

Review: The W800i is the making of great things to come. It is exciting to think of current Mp3's becoming extinct with the new breed of phones taking over. It has more megapixles than my digital camera and allows more and more people to access hard drive technology with which to store music. I like the bold styling and to echo my first statement, I believe Sony have done so to mark the new direction phones are taking. One hope is that the joystick will stand up to time better than the K500i, I could not use it to scroll left or down, frustrating to say the least, when you are trying to play the tennis game. I have been told by orange that I can expect delivery on the 1/09/05. The handset will cost £30. I can assure you I won't be getting much sleep until this day.

Review: Every phone relies either on the memory slot or the internal, so I don’t agree with those that say it’s bad. Also it’s not relying only on MS duo, because in Hong Kong, they included a Sandisk branded Secure Digital (SD) to MS Duo adapter, so even SD and MMC cards can be used on the W800i. I think the phone's true is that it is the exact same as the K750 and the D750 but rely on the walkman brand to bump up the price a few hundred dollars higher while the D750 is using T- mobile brand to bump the price up a hundred dollars. I’d rather stick with the k750 rather than an expensive clone.

Review: This phone is really cool, although the cream and burnt orange case takes a while to get used to. But it's easy to see why Sony have done this; it's to appeal to a young market whilst also marketing this as more than just a phone. And indeed it is. The camera is great and the quality of the mp3 player and headphones is great too. Plus the phone is clear and crisp even on the speakerphone. Finally, I agree with the next reviewer that T-Mobile are mean when it comes to upgrades. I spend loads as a contact customer and then they try to con me with a poor inclusive minutes upgrade and charge for the phone too. How cheeky...so off to 02 I went with a much better deal. T-Mobile is the best network for customer service but their upgrade policy needs sorting!!

Review: This phone is the business, unfortunately I made a mistake and took out a contract on T-mobile, even if they do release the w800i (don’t think so) it will be after every other network in the country, even then they’ll over charge for the upgrade or release a nasty looking replica like the D750i. Why is T-mobile doing this all the time, over charge and under deliver and why is Sony Ericsson letting them get away with it? I’ve made my mind up after my contract runs out I’m moving to Vodaphone or any other network, they are all better then T-mobile.

Review: I really want the K750i but I’m on t-mobile and they have the usual own branded D750i. Although these have the same phone specification the D750 is so ugly! I don’t understand why T-mobile does this with all the best phones???

Review: I think this phone looks brilliant!! I really, really want one but the same as everyone else NOW!!! There is everything on it that I want. At the moment I have a Nokia 7610 which is a good phone but... I’m looking for something new. I just hope this one isn’t too pricey but still if it’s worth it, I’ll take a dive. If I could put a deposit on one now I would!!

Review: Looks great...Think I'll be getting one when it's out, but it's a shame we'll have to wait so long! I’m not very happy with the reviewer, though... For one, 30 tracks does NOT take 512mb of disk space. On a walkman, you'll hardly be able to hear much difference from 128kb/s upwards, so based on that, it'll be more like 100 (average of 5mb/track)!!! So that'll do me nicely! Also, the 2mp camera will make phone photos worth the effort! I'm sick of taking photos that turn out looking like someone has drawn them in MSPaint. I'll be getting one, as Sony are one of my technology heroes, and generally someone you can count on. Also keep in mind that the software is going to be upgraded before the release (although I've seen a couple on eBay already), so I think this phone will keep rival companies on the edge of their seats. Keep it up!

Review: Looks absolutely amazing just a big shame about having to wait until the autumn. I agree with the first comment about the storage space holding much more than 30 songs because a 512mb memory card should hold at least 130 4 minute songs when in 128kbps mp3 file format.
